A POETRY COMPETITION

THE RULES

WHAT IS IT?
It is a competition where Muslims write and submit poems about their Prophet.
WHY?
To counteract the offensive drawings and remarks made against our Prophet, we are defending his honour on the traditional manner of poetry, that has been used since the lifetime of the prophet himself.
WHERE IS IT RUNNING?
The competition will run on the website and also via the Scholarly Heritage Instagram page and Facebook events page. Winners will be announced on all these pages and contacted via email.
WHEN?
The competition will run from the 29th November to 27th December. Winners will be announced weekly.
HOW?
Entries can be submitted on our website and also via direct messaging to the Scholarly Heritage Instagram and Facebook accounts, as well as by email. Include your name & email address, so we can contact you if you win.
WHO DECIDES?
The competition winners will be picked by a special panel of the SH team and announced every Sunday on SH Instagram and Facebook pages.

A special online event where Shaykh Muhammad Al-Yaqoubi is reading and commenting on his poem The Moroccan Revelations. Event dates: 6th Dec, 20th Dec, Jan 3rd January.
